This Dalgona Coffee recipe will literally take you five minutes to make.
I know whipped coffee is super popular right now, so I thought I’d share my take on it.
Since discovering whipped/dalgona coffee, I have had to tweak it several times. The first time it was WAY too strong – then it wasn’t fluffy enough, etc etc.
For this super simple recipe you will need:
1/4 Cup Cafe Bustelo Instant Coffee
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup *almost* boiling water
- Use an electric hand mixer to whip the coffee, sugar and water for about 8-10 mins until it is super fluffy, light, and lighter/creamier in color.
2. Pour milk over ice in your cup.
3. Add whipped coffee mixture on top.
4. All done!
Super easy and fool proof.
You can try to hand mix the coffee but it really doesn’t work great.
If you don’t like strong coffee you can try using less instant coffee.
I also like to save the extra whipped coffee topping in the fridge for the next day. I haven’t tried to keep it stored any longer than that, so i’m not sure how it would hold up 2+ days.
I also like to add cinnamon and I’ve tried a few different types of milk. Coconut milk is really good with this!
