Here are some photos of Madison’s coral and teal floral nursery. Hope they inspire you if you love this color combo as much as I do.
This french provincial style dresser is such a gem. I found it at a local thrift store for $30 and spray painted it this coral color. If I did this over again, I would hand paint the dresser rather than spray paint it. I think it would have held up better. As you can see there are some chips in the dresser, but for almost two years it has held up really well. When I bought the dresser it was white, so that made it easy to paint over. When Madison was a newborn, I put a changing pad on the dresser and used this as a changing table. Now that she’s bigger I just lay her on the floor or on her bed to change her. She’s still sleeping in a crib but we have a twin sized bed in there for when she transitions into her big girl bed :).
These handles were originally just brown so I spray painted them gold. I really love how they look on the coral.
This is Maddie’s crib. This crib was originally our little friend Elijah’s. Then it was passed onto Wesley, and now Madison. We painted it white – do not ever attempt to paint a crib unless you love painting and want to work on it for weeks – it was a nightmare, to say the least. It’s the slats that complicate things.
This gorgeous watercolor floral bedspread and the large fox stuffed animal is from Target. You can read more about that here. I love how it ties in all the colors so perfectly.
Maddie absolutely loves these two little cuties. You can find them both at http://www.cuddleandkind.com
Another cute little stuffy from Target.
So many sweet little things that people have made or given Maddie 🙂
This gold and white chevron ottoman is from Walmart. It was on clearance for $9 when we got it. It holds her books right now. She loves taking the lid off and digging around in there.
A cute box to hold some of our favorite bows.
I use this basket to keep all of her diapers, creams, and wipes in one place.
Hope you enjoyed this tour of Maddie’s nursery. I love it and had so much fun decorating her room. If you have any photos of your little one’s nursery or bedroom, I’d love to see it! Post it in the comments – I am always looking for some new ideas 🙂
