I hope you enjoy this little tour of our Home Sweet Home *allthehearteyes* – I always love seeing what other people have done in their homes on Instagram or Pinterest.
Seeing how others decorate and style their home always inspires me and gives me new ideas for my next project!
This cute little sign came from Hobby Lobby & works great for the kid’s little rain jackets or sweatshirts :).
This tray in the hallway has a selection of random finds – I love how the fresh green plants give the house a little pop of color here and there. I just put the tray on top of a dresser that I use for linen storage. (See Photo Below)
Lantern – IKEA
Small Green Plant – TJMAXX
Large Potted Bush – TJMAXX
This large sign is what everyone sees when they first walk into our home. This sign is also from Hobby Lobby. Hopefully you live pretty close to a HL. It is a really cool store to find decor items or craft supplies.
These curtains are on all of our windows in our living room. It is hard to explain… but our living room, kitchen and dining room are all in on large great room. So we have the same curtains throughout to sort of tie it all in. These gray striped curtains are Ralph Lauren Brand, originally from Tjmaxx. I get compliments on them all the time. They really make a statement but are neutral as well.
My photography skills need some serious improving..*cringe*
This is our “entryway” – we got this amazing table from some good friends of ours. They make amazing custom designed pieces. I was thrilled about this table because it is the perfect size for this space. The super sweet “gather” sign is from one of my besties over at daisycottagedesigns. I believe she bought it at a little Amish shop while on vacation. <3
This is an attempt at a gallery wall for this little nook. It is definitely a work in progress.. 😉
Pantry sign – also from Hobby Lobby
I love how open + bright our kitchen is. It is great for having get-togethers for this reason. Click here to read about how I redid these inexpensive barstools!
Guest Suite:
Small gold side table is from a friend – but it was originally from HomeGoods. It had a broken top so I decided to spray paint this large metal plate charger and make it a new top. I love how unique this table is and its great for guests to be able to have a place for their phone, etc
The headboard we have in here was an amazing yard sale find! SO glad we found it. It makes things much more comfy for our house guests.
Middle Bath:
My office space:
I wanted to go with something a little more colorful and “fun” for this area. I love to read my Bible and work here – while the kids are playing. This spot in the house is actually in a perfect location because I can watch the kids playing in the backyard, and I can also hear what they are up to if they are playing in their bedrooms.
I use pencil cases with labels to organize my pens.. or pen collection I should say :P!
These HUGE floor cushions are from the Hearth and Hand line at Target. Here is a link to these exact cushions.
Tufted Chairs – Wayfair
These framed pieces are definitely my favorite out of everything in the living room. These framed paintings are from Hobby Lobby. I originally only had the three and then decided with how large the space is, adding an additional three below would really make a statement. I used these pieces as the foundation to design everything else in the room. They were my inspiration and gave me my color scheme. Make sure that you always check for sales because every few weeks or so, all of the framed art at HL goes on sale for 50% off.
I think starting off with a staple piece when trying to decorate, really helps when you are trying to decide if something will go with what you have or if it will contradict what you already have going on.
I’m no expert by any means, but I definitely enjoy decorating and sprucing up our home in my spare time.
Thanks for reading + I hope you have a blessed day!
Come back soon 🙂
