Trying to add some detail to a room but not quite sure what it needs?
Maybe an accent wall will do the trick!
This was a very easy project, and really makes Wesley’s nautical-themed bedroom POP!
This wallpaper is very easy to use. It is basically a peel and stick contact paper. You can put it over paint or over existing wallpaper. That is what I did.
Wesley’s room had a horrible green swirly wallpaper…
Yuck!
Working with this wallpaper took some getting used to…but thankfully it pulls up really easily and I could re-apply it. After the first strip I got the hang of it pretty quickly. Anything is easier than ripping off old wallpaper, sanding and repainting — IMO.
The wall in his bedroom is not huge but it did take a surprising FOUR ROLLS to complete one wall in his bedroom. I was really surprised and originally thought it would only take one or two rolls. His bedroom is about 10×12 feet. Obviously I didn’t measure beforehand, or else I would have figured that out up front. The brand is called Devine Color and they have many different colors/styles. The driftwood style that we used is textured.
I really love how the accent wall looks and feels.
